I’m Sarah, I’m the voice and wellness obsessed creator behind Follow Your Gut. I created Fallow Your Gut in 2019 after retiring from USRowing. I spent four years rowing in college at the University of Washington, then went on to compete with the USRowing National Team for two and a half years after I graduated. As a full-time athlete, I thought I was bullet-proof, I thought I was healthy from all the exercise I was doing and food I was consuming, and I thought I was going to the Olympics.

All of those thoughts quickly shifted once I got injured for the sixth time in two and a half years. I know what it feels like to lose a sense of autonomy over your body, and I feel deeply for athletes and former athletes who find themselves lost in the noise of recovery and wellness.

As an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Personal Trainer, I’m here to bridge the gap between performance, injury, and wellness.
